Aimpoint + GAIM:
Precision Starts with Preparation.
What is GAIM?
GAIM is a virtual reality shooting simulator that brings meaningful practice into your home. When you can't get to the range, the range comes to you.
You shoulder a dedicated training stock built to feel like your firearm, put on a VR headset, and step into realistic hunting, clay or sport shooting scenarios. Every shot is recorded, so you can see exactly what happened and fix it on the next one.
GAIM is not a video game. It is a training tool built to reinforce the fundamentals that matter in the field and on the course: target acquisition, gun mount, swing, lead, and follow-through.
Built for hunters and sport shooters
Whether you're preparing for hunting season, sharpening your swing for sporting clays, or picking up a firearm for the first time, GAIM gives you more practice between range visits.
-
Hunters
Prepare for waterfowl, upland birds, and big game before the season opens. Practice tracking, leading, and shot placement in realistic environments that reinforce ethical shooting.
- Driven pheasant, ducks, and wood pigeon
- Deer, moose, and wild boar
- Anatomically accurate hit zones
-
Sporting clays and clay shooters
Build consistency between range visits. Train target acquisition, gun movement, lead timing, and visual focus with repeatable drills and challenges.
- Sporting clays, skeet, and trap
- 5-Stand and American Trap
- Repeat any presentation on demand
-
New shooters
Build confidence in a safe, controlled setting before stepping onto the range. Learn the fundamentals and practice at your own pace.
- No live ammunition
- Instant feedback on every shot
- Easy for a mentor to coach alongside
See every shot. Fix every miss.
GAIM records each shot so you can review what happened and understand why. It's the feedback you would get from a coach standing behind you, available every session.
- Step 01
Realistic hardware
A dedicated training hardware gives familiar handling and builds muscle memory that carries over to your firearm.
- Step 02
Immersive scenarios
Lifelike environments and sound are built around real shooting challenges, from clay courses to the duck blind.
- Step 03
Shot analysis
Review timing, lead, gun movement, and where you pulled the trigger to see exactly where to improve.
- Step 04
Train anytime
No ammunition, no travel, and no waiting for range time. Just consistent practice when your schedule allows.
Why Aimpoint and GAIM?
Better performance starts with better preparation.
Aimpoint has helped shooters improve accuracy with red dot sights since 1975. GAIM grew out of that same pursuit of precision. It began at Aimpoint as a way to show red dot performance in a realistic VR environment, then developed into a full training simulator for hunters and sport shooters.
Today, GAIM extends the Aimpoint commitment to performance from the field into everyday practice.
Aimpoint
Helps shooters see and engage targets faster in the field.
GAIM
Helps shooters train to build the skills, consistency, and confidence to be ready before they get there.
Why train in the off-season?
The challenge isn't losing knowledge. It's losing consistency and muscle memory.
Small changes in timing, gun mount, target tracking, and swing add up over months without trigger time. Too often, the first weeks of season go to rebuilding skills you already had. GAIM helps you keep them all year.
-
Stay sharp between seasons
Practice regularly from home so you start next season prepared, not rusty.
-
Train in any weather
Rain, snow, darkness, or limited range access no longer stop meaningful practice.
-
Build confidence before opening day
Arrive at the range or the field knowing you've already put in the repetitions.
-
Improve faster
Take dozens of practice shots in minutes, with no ammunition, range fees, or travel time.
