The Aimpoint® FCS (Fire Control Systems) is a multi-weapon, direct view optic for use on crew-served weapons. The FCS™ series of sights greatly increases first round hit probability on both static and moving targets. The use of this optic drastically reduces training time, ammunition consumption, and risk for collateral damage. Gunner fatigue is also substantially diminished by using Aimpoint Fire Control Systems.

The FCS™ series allows engagement on moving targets no matter what weapon platform is used. It automatically compensates for the ballistic drop of projectiles at measured distances, factoring many different variables.

Other Key Features:

• Elimination of targeting errors - Terrain angle and range estimation with laser range finder.
• Nighttime capability – Can be used together with all generations of night vision devices/image intensifiers (like PVS14 and PVS31).
• Thermal capability – The thermal TH60 offers high resolution within the thermal area.
• Airburst capability – Most of the 40mm HV Airburst ammo is already pre-programed. Additional munitions are available soon.
  • Modes of Fire: Ascending, Descending, Bracketing, Point Detonation, and Impact.
