How to download and install the file on my device?

Fire Control Systems

In Action

Installing the downloaded APK on Android Devices.

Optional: Check Your Android Version.

Open the Settings app on your phone
Scroll down and tap About phone or About device (On some devices, this may be under System → About phone)
Look for Android version – You will then see a number like 12, 11, 10, or 8.1, etc.

Step 1: Prepare Your Device.

Modern Android Versions (8.0+): Enable Install Unknown Apps

Open Settings
Go to Apps / Apps & Notifications → Advanced / Three Dots → Special App Access
Tap Install Unknown Apps
Select the app you’ll use to install the APK (In this case, Chrome is recommended as it is a download from our website)
Enable Allow from this source

Older Android Versions (< 8.0): Enable Install Unknown Apps

Open Settings
Go to Security
Enable Unknown Sources

Step 2: Download the APK File.

Go to our download page at https://aimpoint.us/fcs/ and use your credentials to access the file.
Accept any prompts you might see about the file being potentially harmful. Tap Download anyway or OK (Only download APK files from reputable sources).
If you downloaded the APK from Chrome, tap the three-dot menu button, the file is most likely expected to be stored in the Downloads folder.
If it was transferred via USB or Bluetooth, you will be able to locate the file in the File Manager.

Step 3: Install the APK File.

Tap the APK file
A prompt will appear:
Do you want to install this application?
Tap Install.
Wait for the installation to complete.
Tap Open or Done.

Optional: APK files can take a lot of space. Delete your downloaded file when you're finished to free up storage. Doing this will not delete the app.

Optional Step: Revoke APK installation permission.

For extra security, you can disable "Install Unknown Apps" after installing.

Go back to the same Settings as seen in Step 1
Disable Allow from this source

Important Notes.

Security warning:

Android may display a security warning about installing an APK from unknown sources. You can usually ignore this warning and proceed with the installation after enabling the application’s permission.

Auto Blocker:

Go to Settings: Open your device's Settings app.
Navigate to Security and Privacy: Find and tap on "Security and Privacy" (or just "Security" on some devices).
Locate Auto Blocker: Scroll down and tap on "Auto Blocker".
Turn off Auto Blocker: Toggle the switch to turn off Auto Blocker.
Install the App: Proceed with installing the desired app.
Re-enable Auto Blocker: After installation, return to the Auto Blocker settings and turn it back on.

Error messages:

If you encounter error messages during installation, ensure the APK is fully downloaded, the app has the necessary permissions, and your device has sufficient storage space.

Family Link:

If your device is managed by Family Link, you may need to enable "Allow unknown sources" within the Family Link app.
