Aimpoint® Magnifiers Explained
Aimpoint® magnifiers are designed for use with Aimpoint red dot reflex optics delivering ultimate picture clarity. The superior optical glass provides the most durable, clear sighting solution available. Aimpoint magnifiers work perfectly with Aimpoint red dot sights, utilizing the red dot in the optic as the aiming reticle. This allows the shooter to shift between non-magnified and magnified aiming without the need to re-zero the optic. The magnifier can be mounted on multiple weapon platforms behind an Aimpoint red dot sight or used as a hand-held monocular.

Aimpoint® 3X-C Magnifier
The Aimpoint® 3X-C magnifier is a 3x power magnifying module in Aimpoint’s commercial line of products. Whether it is paired with an Aimpoint red dot sight or used as a hand-held monocular, the 3X-C provides a crisp sight picture perfect for observation or target acquisition at longer distances. It has a 6-degree field of view (FOV) and a variable dioptric setting (-2 to +2), allowing the magnifier to be adjusted to the individual user’s eye. The 3X-C is fully waterproof and can withstand temperatures ranging from -31°F to +131°F. The shock absorbing protective rubber cover creates the ideal ergonomic grip used as a hand-held device.
Aimpoint® 3XMag-1 Magnifier
The Aimpoint® 3XMag-1 magnifier is a 3x power magnifying module in Aimpoint’s professional line of products. The 3XMag-1 is built to withstand the extreme abuse that is required by professional end users. Whether it is paired with an Aimpoint red dot sight or used as a hand-held monocular, the 3XMag-1 provides a crisp sight picture perfect for observation or target acquisition at longer distances. It has a 7-degree field of view (FOV) and a variable dioptric setting (-3 to +3), allowing the magnifier to be adjusted to the individual user’s eye. The 3XMag-1 is fully submersible up to 80 feet and built to withstand temperatures ranging from -49°F to +160°F. It has a shock absorbing protective rubber cover that creates an ideal ergonomic grip with used as a hand-held device.

Aimpoint® Magnifier Mounts
Aimpoint offers two magnifier mounts that attached to MIL-STD-1913 picatinny rails – the TwistMount™ and the FlipMount™. Both mounts utilize the same base which attaches directly to the rail. Aimpoint magnifiers fit into either the TwistMount or the FlipMount upper 30mm mount ring. The TwistMount optic ring turns out while the base remains secure on the weapon platform. The upper portion of the mount, along with the magnifier, can be stored for later use or immediately employed as a hand-held monocular. The FlipMount optic ring will also twist off the base while offering the capability of flipping the magnifier outside of the optical axis if no magnification is needed.
