AIMPOINT INC. EXPORT RESTRICTIONS NOTICE

The information provided in this Export Restrictions notice is for general informational purposes and does not, and is not intended to, constitute legal advice. Aimpoint Inc. products (hereinafter referred to as “Export-Controlled Products”) are subject to strict export regulations including, but not limited to, the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 CFR 120- 130) and the Export Administration Regulations (15 CFR 730-774). Export-Controlled Products sold by Aimpoint Inc. are restricted from transfer outside of the United States without the proper government authorization and a valid export license issued by the U.S. Department of State’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls or the United States Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security. Serious penalties, both criminal and civil, may be imposed on persons who fail to comply with these export control laws.

United States law also prohibits the sale, transfer or export of items to certain restricted parties, destinations, and embargoed countries, as identified on lists maintained by the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the U.S. Department of Treasury. It is your responsibility to be aware of these lists and the restricted items they identify.

By purchasing any Export-Controlled Product on the Aimpoint Inc. website, you acknowledge and agree that:

(1) you are not purchasing the Export-Controlled Product(s) with an intent to export from the United States;

(2) you will not engage in an unauthorized transaction involving the export of any Export-Controlled Product(s) to a restricted party or destination, as referenced above;

(3) you will not (directly or indirectly) sell, transfer, rent, deliver, or otherwise dispose of any Export-Controlled Product(s) to any person or entity who you know, or should reasonably be expected to know, will export that product outside of the United States; and

(4) you will comply with all requirements imposed by the applicable laws, regulations and administrative policies governing the possession and handling of Export-Controlled Products.

Aimpoint Inc. reserves the right to request information or documentation from any customer with respect to the anticipated end user, end use and/or country of ultimate destination of any product sold on the Aimpoint Inc. website.
